A collection of random thoughts

  • Am I the only person that regularly forgets Delaware exists? I can’t be.
  • Ingress is having a clothing-designing contest, and the winner gets newly-released in-game gear. Perhaps now is a good time to whip up that Enlightened-symbol-plus-transgender-symbol t-shirt idea I was toying around with.
  • I’ve said the word “wahoo” more times in the past three days than I have in every other day of my life, combined. It’s interesting to see how pervasive certain words can be in our day-to-day speech, seemingly out of nowhere. I think of it as a sort of spy that infiltrated my vernacular a long time ago, waiting for the right moment to jump out and wish me a surprise “happy birthday!” “Yo, Wahoo, how long you been hidin’ under the couch, homie?”
  • Speaking of pervasive language, I’ve used twelve hyphens in this bullet list so far. Hyphen and Wahoo are actually getting married [they have so much in common!], but Wahoo didn’t want to take Hyphen’s name. Thought it was aesthetically displeasing. [For the record, I agree, Wa-hoo.]
  • A friend once asked what my spirit animal is. After a few seconds’ thought, I responded with “Busta Rhymes.”
  • I went to my LGS [LocalĀ GameĀ Store] last night to play in a Magic tournament, but was distracted by Netrunner. My life is hard.
